This week, we’re talking with Ronald about his experience with TMS.
Thanks for taking the time to chat with us, Ronald! Can you share a bit about what life felt like prior to beginning TMS treatment?
Before starting TMS treatment, I was experiencing low-grade, persistent depression, especially in the Autumn low-light months.
What had you tried (before TMS) to address these challenges?
I’d tried medications, retreats, light therapy, and talk therapy.
Any hesitations about exploring TMS for yourself? What made you decide to give it a try?
I was running out of options, so I did some reading and exploring myself.
I didn’t have any hesitations about TMS, so when a clinical trial opened up, I decided to give it a try.
What was the experience like for you?
I felt extremely well taken care of by the thoughtful staff at Sonder.
What were some of the first changes you noticed after beginning treatment?
I felt like my thinking was literally just sharper overall.
How does life feel different now, after TMS treatment?
I feel much more stable. I’ll be interested to see what it is like in 6 months.
Any advice or encouragement you’d like to share with someone considering TMS?
TMS treatment is an extremely low risk for an extremely high potential reward.
