Meet the Providers: Daniele (Dani) Hagberg

I love the idea that something or someone in need can still be beautiful.

Sonder’s growing!

And, in the process, we’ve welcomed some exceptional new providers to our team.

To celebrate, we’re introducing you to the humans behind the many services we offer.

This week, we’re talking with TMS treater, Daniele (“Dani”) Hagberg:

Thanks for taking the time to chat with us, Dani! What do you love most about your role at Sonder?

I understand what mental health issues can do to a person, family or relationship. I want to be the good in someone’s day, or at least the strength they need to live life the way they want.

Who do you enjoy working with most?

I most easily connect with women but enjoy working with people of all ages, backgrounds and gender identifications.

I find it easy to lift women up and understand their life experiences. Having so many strong women be there for me allows me to do the same for others.

We know that there are many myths about emotional wellness out there. What’s one misconception that you’d like to erase for good?

TMS is an underrated treatment that more people should be talking about and utilizing.

Emotional wellness should be wholly accepted and taught to be as important as a person’s physical health.

When you’re not working, what are you most likely up to?

Playing with my dogs, gardening, riding motorcycle with my boyfriend or simply enjoying a good show on TV.

As providers, it’s essential that we maintain our own emotional wellness practices. What does self-care look like for you these days?

A good book, a hot bath, snuggles with my dogs or carving out time to make art!

What’s one thing Sonder patients might be surprised to learn about you?

My favorite flower is a sunflower. They stand tall, are so big, bright and bring joy.

Sunflowers are multi-functional and feed pollinators, birds and humans. They emanate beauty but still show when they need help and I love the idea of something or someone in need can still be beautiful.

Plus, sunflowers are better together than alone!

Thanks, Dani! We’re grateful to have you on the team.
