Thanks for taking the time to chat with us, Liz! Can you share a bit about what life felt like prior to beginning Spravato (esketamine) treatment?
My depression was not well controlled and my mood was consistently low.
What had you tried (before Spravato) to address these challenges?
I’d tried intramuscular ketamine and multiple medications over the years, including mood stabilizers and antipsychotic medications.
Any hesitations about exploring Spravato for yourself? What made you decide to give it a try?
I wasn’t sure if an inhaled medication like Spravato would work for me. But, eventually, my insurance no longer covered intramuscular ketamine, so I decided that Spravato was the best alternative.
What was the experience like for you?
I found the treatment process to be fairly straightforward.
What were some of the first changes you noticed after beginning treatment?
My mood began leveling out early on.
How does life feel different now, after Spravato treatment?
I feel good! Fairly close to how I did on intramuscular ketamine.
Any advice or encouragement you’d like to share with someone considering Spravato?
If Spravato (eketamine) worked for me, it should work for you.
