Stephanie Pierce is a licensed independent clinical social worker who provides individual and family therapy services to clients with a variety of clinical issues. She specializes in treatment for mood disorders including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, and bipolar disorder, as well as difficulties related to self-esteem, emotional regulation, negative thinking, impulse control, familial conflict, parenting, compulsions, intrusive thoughts, academic/occupational stress, and life transitions. Additionally, Stephanie has training and multiple years of experience treating victims of sexual and/or physical abuse. Stephanie provides a safe and non-judgmental therapeutic environment that treats every individual and their situation as unique and deserving of an individualized approach to treatment. Her passion is treating children and teenagers as they learn how to navigate their environment, and their emotions. She has provided clinical services since 2014 and has over 5 years of experience providing therapeutic services within rural and urban school districts. This experience led her to enjoy working with families to foster communication and familial growth. Stephanie has treated clients with presenting concerns associated with immigration, adoption, attachment, medical illness, psychosis, hallucinations, and addiction.

Stephanie is trained to provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Sand Tray Therapy. She has over 7 years of experience providing sand tray therapy to adolescents and adults which is a therapeutic model which puts focus on the unconscious mind and helps foster healing.

9+ years of clinical mental health experience in both rural and urban community mental health settings providing individual, family, and group therapy services to individuals aged 4 – 98.

5+ years providing contracted therapeutic services to students and families within the elementary, middle, and high school system while collaborating with school staff.

2 years working primarily with adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses.
