Prior to joining Sonder, I worked in rehabilitation at a large medical center for five years. I specialize in assisting with transitions after traumatic life events and navigating health-related challenges. As a psychologist, I use a client-centered approach to meet patients at their level of readiness to make change while incorporating evidence-based practices of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical-behavioral therapy (DBT), and mindfulness skills. These skills look at identifying distressing thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and creating distance from these experiences that prevent you from living your best life.
