I specialize in diagnosing and treating posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), adjustment disorders, complex trauma, secondary traumatic stress, traumatic grief, and childhood problematic sexual behaviors. I also enjoy working with parent-child dyads to help improve these relationships and assist caregivers in learning effective parenting strategies. I am trained in and offer a variety of trauma-informed, evidence-based treatments including: The Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention (CFTSI), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Alternatives for Families: A Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (AF-CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PET).
I believe in using evidence-based treatments with fidelity and flexibility and utilize a collaborative approach with each of my clients in session. I love combining my clinical training with my clients’ diverse experiences and self-expertise to meet their specific goals, needs, and interests.
